Hi I’m Alex.

I've worked in the fitness industry for over 10 years. In that time I have been fortunate enough to train a variety of clients, with these experiences I’ve continued to develop and evolved my style and perspective on personal training and coaching. This journey has lead me to take a holistic approach with my clients, looking at the whole person. Whatever your goal or motivation is, by working together we can make exercise a more rewarding and enjoyable experience for you.

My style is non-judgmental - I will not shame you, quite the opposite infact! My style is to empower you, I want you to build a positive lasting relationship with exercise that works for your individual needs.

I grew up in a seaside town in Devon where from a young age I have always enjoyed being active. A love of sport and exercise meant a career in fitness was a natural progression for me. I set up my previous business Active Alex while living in Devon, I delivered personal training and multiple fitness classes from kettlebells to aqua aerobics, helping people fall in love with exercise gave me huge satisfaction.

However, the big city was calling. So I shut down the business and moved to London seeking out new experiences. I lived in London for 3 years, developing my skills and ethos by training incredible people whilst working in a Soho bespoke personal training facility and local East London gyms. These experiences have allowed me to continue to understand and explore how best to help people make truly meaningful change across all aspects of health and wellbeing.

Today, I am embarking on my next adventure, renovating a 30 year old motorhome to travel the world (or of much of it as a very old vehicle will take me to!). The pandemic has allowed me to offer my services online and reach a wider border audience. I hope to show you some pretty amazing backdrops during our sessions and workshops.

So… now you know a little bit more about me.
Drop me a message and we can start your Train.Wellness journey.

Alex is a really good personal trainer - I was never a fan of exercise for the sake of exercise but he has managed to make our sessions fun. It is really worth signing up if you, like me, are stuck on a laptop all day long - he’ll make sure you reset and get your “shoulders back and down”
